Below is a list of quotes and short thoughts. If I wrote it myself, it is followed by the symbol  If it is not, it is credited in bold.

There is only one. The one law of this Universe is balance. The one matter or substance is light. The one force is electricity. The one cause is desire. The one emotion, which has no opposite, is ecstasy. The one principle is love. The one thinker is the creator. The one thought is the creator’s imagination. The one song is the music of the spheres or the Universal symphony. The one time is now. The one savior is you. The one is the other. Find the one in yourself, know the one in the all.  – Matt Presti

To lose everything is not the same as to have nothing. Because no matter how bad or how great things may get, our minds COMPARE it to how it could be, and our idea of “everything” is always changing. This is why it is so important to be thankful for what we have, rather than wish for what we don’t.

We may have parted ways, we may not talk anymore, and all we have left are the latent images of how we might have been. But still, we were, and our paths crossed – however so temporarily – and my life is better for having known you. I don’t want to recall my timeline of freak outs. Because I still feel fondness for you and my heart knows not the time.

A simple life is unrealistic, unless you’re a Hilton. We should not HAVE to devote our *lives* to our *jobs.* One should not be required or expected to work multiple jobs just to survive. That is not a free nation. Yes, we do what we must to take care of ourselves and our loved ones, but it is very unrealistic to expect people to become robots to their employers and call this a free nation.

If all you’ve ever associated with love is pain, then that’s what you’ll be looking for and expecting when you’re seeking love. Love doesn’t hurt. And if it does, it isn’t love.

We’re each fractals of one another, in a physical and metaphysical sense. The Golden Rule is quite literal. Don’t choose the love/hate duality, for choosing one is accepting the other. It shows a preference for some part of you over others. However true for you this may be, it’s truly a lost battle of the mind. Love/hate duality causes great conflict when applied to a larger scale. Instead, exercise gratitude, unconditional love, and service to others. Show appreciation for ALL!

The pursuit of romantic love isn’t a one-way street. It requires encouragement, conviction, and validation – because love is going against all probabilities. It isn’t enough to feel love. We must believe in it, or it will wither.

A person has an equal choice to offend or to be offended. And if you blame others for being offended, you’re ignoring your responsibility to communicate successfully in the world.

An old Cherokee told his grandson, “My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, & ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, & truth.” The boy thought about it, and asked, “Grandfather, which wolf wins?” The old man quietly replied, “The one you feed.” – Cherokee Legend
